Vintage ABU Cardinal 54 in Box with papers!! Closing : Sep-23-07 12:53:39 PDT BID NOW!

A SUBURB looking vintage reel, ABU Cardinal 54, in box, coming with papers, wrench! Technical in perfect working order, very smooth gearing, perfect drag and it has a real slamming bail!!! Reels is fully cleaned (till the last part) and regreased/ reoiled. When the anti-reverse is on it makes a very smooth clicking sound, when the anti-reverse is off it runs silent in both ways. Of course they’re both suitable for left- or righthandretrieve. I think the pictures will tell the story of this reel!  Just a musthave for the serious angler. The numbers in the reelfoot is. You won't see them very often in this condition, showing less than normal usagemarks than you would expect from reels this age! It’s really excellent looking, as you can see. These are real collectorsitems, but also perfect for the real fisherman. They don't make them anymore like this. The perfect Carp or Barbelfishingreels.
