Stunning c.1906 Heddon High Forehead 175 in slate color. A highly desirable early version of the 175 lure, this very rare lure dates to 1906 and comes with the High Forehead of the period, large eyes, big sturdy hooks, unmarked props, cup rig and nickel hardware. There are very few of these around. As shown in the pictures, the lure is in solid Excellent condition with agelines, a ring around the belly weight, a small pointer on the left side (shows up as a black spot on the picture) and scattered minor pinhead flakes. White streaks are glare. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer example and it belongs in an advanced Heddon collection.
