Edward Vom Hofe 4/0 Model 504 Tobique Hand Made German Silver and Hard Rubber Multiplying Salmon Reel With 1902 Patent Date. Having a 3 7/8" dia. and 1 3/4" wide spool, this reel was made with the classic rear mounted adjustable click-stop drag with red indicator dots. The sliding rear oil cap is marked with "Edward Vom Hofe & Co., Maker, NY" and has the 1902 patent date. Tastefully engraved with the initials "M.W" on the face plate to match the fitted leather Vom Hofe marked case, with serial No.F193 marked on the slightly tapered foot, in Ex condition with only slight fading to the black hard rubber.
