The Seamartin reels were made by Cliff Martin who was from Lakes Entrance, Victoria. With very few of these made, this reel has a cedar spool and body, with a plated reel seat and stainless bail arm, backplate and handle shaft. Stamped with the original patent number being 242286 (4 - 2 - 60). This reel is in excellent working condition, very clean and neat. A rare chance to obtain a unique and very collectable australian fishing reel.

Very Rare, made in Sweden -last one I saw sold for $160. What a superb little reel and comes w/ Manual (although diagram has Cardinal 4)! Mechanically it's perfect. The bail snaps very nicely and the clicker is very strong. Cosmetically it's beautiful. Not perfect, as you can see, but with very little wear. Saltwater approved with a 5.1:1 gear ratio this reel would look good on the water or in a display case. Highly collectible, I'd be keeping it if I collected ABU reels.

Up for auction is an Aimsa Tru-Sal Spinning Reel, which is new in the box. This reel was made in Spain "Where uperb craftsmanship is a tradition". It is advertised as "a specially designed all purpose medium sized spinning reel for both light salt and fresh water fishing". The reel has never been used and I don't see where it has ever been mounted on a fishing rod. It comes with an information sheet, a spare spool and a spare spring for the bail. This reel was manufactured in the early '60s. The address does not include a zip code, which indicates that it was manufactured prior to 1962. Unfortunately, the box is only the bottom half. The top half is missing, but I know that the bottom is, in fact, the original, since the address stamped on the bottom of the box corresponds with the importer's address on the information sheet. Written on the bottom of the box is the original selling price of $62.50. This reel is pristine. You'll not find a better one anywhere. This is a no reserve auction. Vintage Fishing Creel Basket split willow wicker leathe Bidding has ended

This is a neat old fishing creel made of split willow, wicker and leather. It measures about 13 1/2" across the lid, almost 17" across the bottom and is about 12" overall height. The leather hinge that attatches the lid to the basket is broken all the way across and so the lid is not attatched. The leather that would be the strap to close the lid to the basket is missing. Otherwise the lid is solid and in reasonable condition. There is a piece of the leather band that runs down the front of the basket missing [see picture], and a similar piece missing on the back [see picture], otherwise the basket is in good shape [considering it's age]. The shoulder strap is intact but the leather is worn, and the padding perhaps is lambs wool. There is little to no damage to any of the split willow or wicker on the whole creel.This is a nice reminder of yesteryear. (more...)

You are bidding on 1 Vintage Paw Paw No. 73 Watta-Frog with Buck-Tail skirted hooks wooden collectible fishing lure. This lure has 3 treble hooks, each with intact buck-tail skirts, rare to find one intact. The belly hook is attached with a screw eye in one piece cup hardware/dive lip, typical for Paw Paw. This lure does not have Paw Paw labled anywhere, I matched it in a lure book. This lure has a yellow splatter paint pattern. The paint is in very good condition, with some checking present on the underside. There is a crack on the underside from the line pull attachment. The eyes are painted. Hardware is in excellent condition. The line pull is centered in the front below the nose. This lure body measures 3-3/4”, about 1" tall and 2" wide across the legs. They appeared in 1941 and were produced into the 1960s. Overall it is in very good to excellent condition. This would make a nice addition to any Paw Paw collection. It weighs 0.625 ounces. You are bidding on 1 Vintage Pflueger Kent Frog Floater wooden collectible fishing lure with marked front spinner. This lure has two treble side hooks mounted with Neverfail hardware and one treble tail hook. Hooks are in good condition. The lure has a basic meadow frog color pattern. The paint is in fair condition with checking, some chiping of the top coat, some chips below the rear propeller, and about 5 scratches on its' back. The line pull is centered on the nose. The front spinner is inscribed with KENT, PFLUEGER, followed by the trademark bulldog, followed by TRADEMARK. The rear spinner is not inscribed and is in poor condition with the plating being rough and flaked of in small pieces. This lure measures about 2-1/8” from nose to the end of the body, and about 3-5/8" in total length including the hardware. The body is about 1-1/8” tall and 1-3/8" wide. This lure was introduced in the late 1910s and was produced for a number of years with the shape changing on occassion. I do not know how to date it further. Overall it is in fair condition considering its' age and would make a nice addition to any Pflueger collection. It weighs1.1 ounces.
