This is a wonderful example of Orvis quality, craftsmanship,and pride. It is an Orvis Battenkill 3 - piece rod that is in excellent condition. The rod has a cigar grip, a screw seat over a walnut spacer, brown silks, blued ferrules, and its original sack and tube for protection. The rod is also marked, "Orvis Impregnated" and "Serial Number 13039. This c.1952 model with 2 tips is a well known Orvis fly model.
