Vintage HL Leonard 8 foot 3 5/8 lb 3 piece (2 tip) 4 wt line Bamboo Fly Rod. Serial number is 2382. Model 40L. Believed to be made in the 60’s. Rod is in nearly new condition, has hardly been used. Ferrules are tight and smooth. Nothing has been broken. Included is the original cloth bag and original aluminum rod tube. Feel free to ask questions. wood body measures 3 1/4 inches in length and is in very good condition

finish is lightly allagored and has a couple small pointers and small hurt at tail

has a heavy nickled hook harness for front hooks and triple prop at the rear finished off with nice full bucktail

a seldom seen classic in very nice condition
