This is a new 6 1/2 foot bamboo fly rod based on a Cattanach 3 Wt. taper. The rod is made from oven treated blonde tonkin bamboo. The action of this rod is medium, with very delicate tips to protect fine tippets. Everything is full length and straight. The rod has six snakes on each tip section, one snake and a modern titanium oxide stripper on the butt section. The rod is wrapped in yellow, tipped black. The ferrules, fly-keeper and reel seat hardware are nickle silver. This rod has never been fished. Ferrules fit snugly and separate with a "pop". Comes with a new rod bag and new aluminum tube (which has a couple sratches).
