Orvis Battenkill 7ft. two piece fly Rod

Orvis 7 ft. weight 3 3/8 oz. Impregnated two piece two tips this rod has 11/64" ferrule takes a # 4 DT. Line or #5 WF. Line has a down locking reel seat with a walnut filler. The rod was made in 1961 under the watch-full eye Wes Jordan, he was rod shop superintendent of this era. Orvis lists the similar rod with two tips new current day price is $2100.00.

It is a one-owner fly rod that has not been fished in thirty-five years. The rod is straight as the day it was made, it has some honest ware of the guides, and rod tube shows wear. The ferrules are tight and ready to fish. Rod is in unalterd condition all sections same length. The cane in this rod is in excellent condition rod will give the next owner a lifetime of fishing pleasure.

This rod will give you a delicate presentation for short and long casts and it has a very smooth action! Great dry fly rod for the lite of tippets and fishing the smallest of flys.

This rod will increase in value a time goes on making it good investment! You can fish it
