Orvis Battenkill Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 7wt 2pc 2 tip Bidding has ended

This fishing rod comes from my grandfather Wilmont Decker's estate on Bear Island Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. My grandfather Decker & great grandfather Bruce were avid fishermen. My great grandfather Bruce started fishing the lake starting in the 1920's.

This rod was made in the early 1960's

It looks as thought the extra tip has never been used! There are no marking at the end that would indicate that it had ever been connected to the main part of the rod.
