I am pleased to be able to offer one of the most sought after fly fishing reels from the past, a rare, vintage A. L. Walker Trout Reel. This wonderful little reel has a German silver handle retaining nut, pillars and counterbalance complimented by aluminum rims, spool, foot and handle. This exquisite little trout reel measures just 3 inches in diameter and only 1 inches across the spool. The reel has the makers mark “MAKER A. L. WALKER NEW YORK” stamped on the rear bearing cover and is right hand wind. Much harder to find than their Edward vom Hofe and Otto Zwarg counterparts, the Walker fly reel is a perfect example of the "Classic American Fly Reel". This little gem comes with its original vinyl case and marked reel bag.

The reel is in excellent + condition.
