Antique 19thC Hand Forged Wrought Iron Signed Eel Spear Closing : Aug-08-08 18:50:06 PDT CLICK HERE TO BID!

This antique 19th Century Hand Forged Iron is signed, but we are not exactly sure what it says. I believe it says, “F.S. Mint Barnstead Mass.” The spear itself measures 13 ½” tall by 10 ¾” wide. It is in very good condition, however there is a very old repair near the bottom wear it attaches to the 66” wood shaft. Eel Spears were no very rare however signed Eel Spears are, even though I am going to list this antique 19th Century Wrought Iron Eel Spear with No Reserve.
