This auction is for what I believe is a rare, uncataloged HEDDON CRAB WIGGLER fishing lure. According to THE HEDDON LEGACY by Roberts and Pavey, this lures meets their description of a Crab Wiggler made during the Depression. It utilizes the body of the No.1600 Deep Diving Wiggler. It has a “U” collar, with HEDDON DOWAGIAC imprinted on it and tiny, cup hardware - as on the No.1600 and No.1700. Length is 4 1/8″ and color is a green scale. Some age lines and discoloration and chips at each end. Don’t miss this great find! Examine pictures carefully for condition. Don’t miss the other items that I have up for auction.
