This is a vintage Garcia Ambassadeur 5500C Casting Reel made by Abu Sweden, complete with box, instruction manual, service manual, and oil and wrench still in unopened plastic. I am not a reel collector or dealer but I would consider the reel mint condition. I know that is has beeen mounted and probably used a few times but it looks brand new. As to age-I don’t know, but both manuals have a 1979 date in lower corner. The box is in excellent shape-no yellowing,few scratches-and has the original price sticker still attached- $59.99 from JC Penny. Number on the bottom of the mount is 790603.
