A skirted spool reel sold with it's box and booklets

the serial number is H347312 which dates it to 1978/79

The box is in excellent condition but there is one small tear in each side.

The reel itself is superb, I will call it used to be safe but I really don't think it has ever been

anywhere near a rod. There are no marks anywhere.

Heddon #20 Bamboo Fly Rod

Here's a well used but well cared for Heddon fly rod. Oh the storys it might tell if it could only talk, alright enought of that. Heddon #20 8' 6" its not on there but I'll bet its a 2F all guides, wraps, ferrules, reel seat and cork there and in good condition. Has rod bag and case, I think orginal, also in good condition.

This is a nice fly rod to collect or fish, I think the latter, its good to go right out of the box! All sections are straight and full lenght 34 3/4" no cracks or splits. Rod has a wonderfull action I have not fished it but have lawn cast and it loves a DT 5 F, I tried a 6 but it seemed a bit much. This is a great trout rod you will not be dissapointed.
