WD Record 1500 Reel with Original Box, Sweden,1940-1943 Bidding has ended

EXTREMELY RARE WITH ORIGINAL GREEN SEAGRASS BOX. The WD marked Phase 1 Record Reels were produced from 1940-1943. This reel in in overall good condition with some brassing and minor corrosion. These boxes did not survive well but this box has a crip appearance with some of the usual wear marks including minor dents, separations and minor surface tears. Please look closely at the box pictures to notice these flaws. This reel has dark brown handles as did all models in the early production runs.. Please note the "Made In Sweden" designation on the side plate. Also note that there is no designation on the riveted foot. This reel operates smoothly with minor noise and has a strong clicker.Please carefully review the pictures to see the condition for yourself.
