    I also have one of these 5000d and wondering where I can get the left side spool cap? Mine was lost years ago and I hate to trash the reel.

    Jack, so sorry I dont collect ambassadeur. more toward spinning. anyway I’m still looking for a good abu reference book. I’ve been looking for marco malavasi book. but they are hard to come by.

    Gary, the best place to find part is ebay. but then you have to weed through lot of junks. or you can look for “mike reel repair”. just do some google. mike site is good. highly recommended.
