Rare B.James & Son, Ealing London Carp Landing Net, Designed By Richard Walker. 61 1/2" Cane Handle With Brass Fittings, Oak / Tufnol Spreader Block With Aluminium Screw, 36" Laminated Cane Arms + Original Knotted Net. It Is Believed That B.James & Son Made No More Than Approx. 40 Of These Nets In The Mid - Late 50,s Due To High Production Costs. This Net Was Previously Owned By Bernard Venables O.B.E. And Was Sold At Angling Auctions London On 27th. September 2003. Comes With Original Certificate Of Authenticity Signed By Neil Freeman Of Angling Auctions Also Signed By Eileen Venables. Net Is In Very Good Overall Condition With A Few Chips To The Varnish. I Would Prefer Not To Post This Item. Collection / Meet 1/2 Way Would Suit Me. Otherwise Courier Service At Cost.
