This old split willow creel has a beautiful patina and is in very good, sturdy condition. The leather straps, including the hanging loop are in very good strong condition. The leather pouch in the front is nice but is brittle with age. The creel is 15" long x 5" wide x 9" high. There is a number 15 stamped in the leather on the bottom which is probably the size. A great old wall hanger that can be hung by the leather harness or by the leather loop. You won't be disappointed!

Up for bids is a Super, Extra Nice Fishing Creel made by Handitop Co. Portland Ore. This old creel has a Pat.No. 956801, about 1911 or so. It is 13 in. wide, about 10 1/2 in. high, and about 8 1/2 in. deep. The pictures speak for it and its Fabulous Condition, there is one buckle off the strap and some one added a bolt to replace it. Beautiful vintage Fishing Creel & Harness with front storage pouch, and completely stitched with leather all around. Quality made split willow reed wicker creel in near mint condition estimated to date back to around the 1940's. After a close inspection, this old creel appears to have been safely stored away for years and it has no signs of usage.

Outing Heddon Tackle box with 102 lures and 10 older reels. Lures are wood, wood/glass eye, plastic, and there is an old Perrine fly box with some old flies. HI fly box. Some of the maker names on the lures are Heddon, Creek Chub, Paw Paw, Cisco Kid, Shakespeare, L&S, an Al Foss lure, and many unmarked I am not sure of. Also one decoy. There are 10 reels that include Great Lakes, Ocean City Fly Reel, Garcia-matic 1431 fly reel, Ocean City 1800, Ambassadeur 6500-C3, Mitchell, 2 J.C. Higgins, Zebco 606, and a Pflueger Akron. Condition of the lures and reels would run from good to great. The tacle box empty weighs quite a bit, so shipping may be high. If i am off in shipping price, you will get a refund. Up for auction is this wonderful handmade eel spearing gig.came out of a farm in New Jersey in the Delaware River Valley . I am not an expert in these kinds of implements but my understanding is that it was made in or around the later part of the the 19th century the spear head and pole measures 21 feet 6 inches,the head measures 13-1/2 inchs long and 9-1/2 inches wide.The barbs are in good condition they look like you could go out today and use it ,but don`t this is very old . I had to cut the pole in half which leaves me with two poles --- I used a fine toothed blade with the idea that I could reattach the halfs with a solid wood peg or use a metal railbolt (its like a screw on both ends) most eel gigs are just sold head only i like to see someone use it for display ,it is something to see when they are in full form.Oh yea the pole is cedar can`t emagin it being made out of oak .I will just ship the head if you would like thats why I will leave shipping up to the buyer ----. one more detail the pole has a dia.of 1-3/4 inches at the base of the head an 1/2 inch dia. at the other end.-------------------- you can see in the third picture how long this is, cut in half leaning up agents my shop

A wonderful early tightly woven split willow creel with heavy leather trim and original shoulder straps. Wicker in excellent condition except for one short strip on bottom. Wide strap has tooled flowers but it is worn and crackeled from dryness. One strap is broken at back of creel and two straps reinforced with old strip of leather. Great logo on the back reads "Established 1857 The Geo. Lawrence Co. Portland Ore." Also engraved under the logo is a large No. 14. We have been told this logo is supposed to be one of the most desireable George Lawrence logos. This creel was made to last and it has survived in excellent condition. Inside pretty clean also. Not used much. Measures 12.5" across center of lid x 6.5" deep. Bottom measures 14.5" x 4.5".

A very rare rubber ice spearing decoy by Enterprise Mfg, later to become Pflueger. These are very rare. This one in especailly nice shape considering what they are made from. Fragile but all there. I will pack especially carefully. Metal fins a mite cock-eyed but I am afraid to try bending em straight.
