The old tackle are not difficult to care. They are very durable. Even if take them for your fishing trip.
The most sensitive part is the rubber part if any. Reason being, rubber tend to be hardern and crack over time. Not much we can do, except reducing the impact. Rubber as well as plastic part tend to detoeriote fast if expose to direct sun light. Probably due to the UV light. So the obvious way to reduce the impact is to place your tackle away from direct sun light.
Other than rubber and plastic part also sensitive to direct sun light.
